In order to contribute to a varied student life at the faculty and the university, we organize various events every year.
At the beginning of your studies we offer a number of different events where you can get to know each other. We show you our faculty as well as parts of Leipzig. If you want to learn more, check out our Freshers page.
The department presentations are primarily aimed at students in their 5th semester who are about to start their Bachelor thesis. The professors will introduce you to their department in about 20 minutes, which will hopefully help you to find the right department for your thesis.
At the beginning of each semester the student representatives of the natural sciences hold a joint semester opening party!
With homemade cookies you can forget the stressful study routine and get in the mood for the contemplative time of the year in a familiar atmosphere.
At the beginning of your third semester, we organize a weekend trip with a physics program. You can get to know each other better and have a great time with us. We will cover part of the costs.
